Do you want a career? How about a better paying job?
A High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma will move you forward in your career goals. Having this diploma will improve your ability to secure a better job, get into college or start a job training program. It opens new doors of opportunity and leads to the success you want and deserve.
So, what are you waiting for? Today is the perfect time to start working on your HSE diploma. The Center for Workforce Development offers free HSE classes for those who qualify. A non-refundable, one-time registration fee of $25 is required.
How do you start?
First: To register, visit us online to schedule an individualized entrance assessment (TABE) of your current math and reading levels.
Next: After your assessment (TABE), an advisor will contact you to set up an orientation appointment to review your scores and choose the HSE program that works best for you and your personal schedule. There are several instructional options, including TASC test preparation, distance learning, the National External Diploma Program, or the ACED program. Your advisor will help you determine what’s best for you.
After that: Get started! Study, ask questions, get extra help, and take assessments along the way to measure your progress. CWD faculty will guide and support you.
Finally: When you have completed your program requirements, it’s time to celebrate at our HSE Graduation!
