Nurse Working At Nurses StationDo you want a career where you can help others? The Nurse Assistant is a proud, professional member of the health care team. Through this program, you will learn skills for essential duties such as emergency care and safety, circulatory and respiratory care, infection control, digestive systems, working with patients and more. Caring, understanding the person’s rights, respect for patients and residents as persons with dignity and value are attitudes that are conveyed throughout the program. Students will complete a 32-hour clinical experience.

In addition to the medical training, this program includes Employment Skills Development and basic computer literacy for database familiarity.

Students who complete the program successfully will be able to take the National Certified Nurse Assistant Exam.

Prerequisites: Completed medical form

Tuition: $2650 (includes uniform, books and exam fee)

Class schedule: Mon. Wed. Thurs., 5-9 p.m. (Clinical hours 4-9)

Program length: 14 weeks (151 hours)
