Dental Assistant

If you enjoy making people smile and are looking for a career in the healthcare industry, consider a job providing quality dental patient care under the guidance of a licensed dentist as a dental assistant. In less than five months, students will gain knowledge and hands-on experience in all dental specialties, including dental anatomy/terminology, instrument care/use and chair-side procedures in a real-life dental lab environment with anatomically-correct prosthetics and appropriate office equipment. Students will be required to coordinate and complete their own shadowing experience and clinical experience.

In addition, this program includes Employment Skills Development and basic computer literacy. Graduates of our program are prepared to take the exam administered by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and have secured employment as dental assistants, oral surgery assistants and dental office receptionists.
